No. It’s a governance model and a set of shared services that let your existing systems interoperate securely. You don’t upload everything to a central place.
Will my competitors see my recipes?
Only if you allow it. You can publish derived indicators (e.g., mass balance, recycled content, CO₂e per kg) with selective access, and keep formulations confidential—enforced by the data space’s usage‑policy building block.
